This is the exact same problem as me. I am also using the exact same hub. I think it's one of those that doesn't like BZ. By the way that is port forwarding, it just want's a trigger port (picture on the guide you posted shows the same screen) Luke's and my problem is that: What exactly is a trigger port? Information found on google doesn't help me work out what port that should be, since it cannot be a range. I have it had it blank and guessed at 21000, 21500 and 22000 and that website still reports it as closed. I have also forwarded the ports on my laptop's firewall, in addition to that I have tried with my laptop and router firewall's both off and with DMZ but it still doesn't work (reports as closed on that website).
Have we unearthed a flaw in the router (settings are ignored if you try to change them)??? Perhaps all we can do is phone BT? Although counter to that I did manage to successfully port forward both deluge and steam...
As for setting a static IP, on the BT Homehub 2 you don't need to (though I already had one set on every pc from my last router) as when you forward a port you assign it to a device and the router will give you the same ip every time (or you can set it to do this on the "Home Network" screen that you can see a link to on luke's pic). Still I much preferred my old router until the wireless range deteriorated to something useless...

I don't think you are doing this right... Don't follow luke's footsteps cause he didn't make it. Port triggering is forwarding of a single port, it is not for BZ. Yesterday, you were connected to 60-61k ports, so forwarding 21-22k ports won't help you. Read main guide again and the most recent resolved PF topic. Your best chance is to set DMZ, like DarkVim did, but you have to do it properly.

It is definitely done properly. My computer is a static IP set and I have correctly forwarded the ranges (leave the trigger port space blank to do this) It should be forwarded as I have done it in exactly the same way as I did the torrent port range and steam, however the router isnt allowing these ports to be opened. I have used DMZ (and it was set to the IP of the correct machine) and tried simply disabling all my firewalls. This makes no difference, the port remains blocked according to websites and "nmap -sS localhost" in terminal. I am going to try with a different router and if I can find it my usb adsl modem, that too.

When I said properly I meant on DMZ, not port forwarding. It isn't enough to forward your ports, you have to forward everybody else's ports too, cause you are trying to connect to them. So foget about PFing, focus on DMZ.
If DMZ is set right, there's no need to turn FW off in the router, DMZ takes care of that. Also, it opens all ports.

On the homehub DMZ only has 2 settings: On/Off and device. I was assuming that since I had device set to this computer that it is correct. I have tried DMZ both with and without firewall and got same results. Now strangely I can only set DMZ to my dads laptop (nothing else is in the list anymore) Very odd.
On the plus side think the game is actually working ok on the other router (pity the wireless died on that one)
