Well my bz install is 1.4 - I can play the missions fine - with full HW acceleration - I can't see the compass direction letters tho its just white blocks... When I go online I get into the loby - into the game room - and then it says Success - try and launch nothing happens eventually I get could not connect to game.

I have forwarded ports 21000 - 22000

OK now i have downloaded 1.5 - installed fine,

Now I can only see one person in the lobby - and he is unresponsive so I guess I have a version mismatch with everyone else!

Is anyone else on 1.5b

You have a connection problem to solve. We could not join your game. Not because of mismatch, because of endless dots when joining.

Sometimes forwarding 21k-22k ports ins't enough. The issue happens on routers which force the usage of some unusual ports. Check this thread, it may be helpful.

Hey guys, I tried the static IP thing did did the tutorial on portforward windows 7 and It wouldn't let me connect to the internet - the tutorial said if that happens ring you isp and ask blah blah - Should it really be this hard just to PLAY a damn game!?

Even if I got the static IP im not sure that that will resolve the issue...

Ill keep tryin.

That's port triggering, not port forwarding.

If you didn't set static IP then you didn't forward any ports.

I play BZ withouth changing default router settings. It is just that some routers don't like Bz protocol. What model you have?
