lol It is fun to watch people drop navs to avoid rockets. The funny thing is they don't avoid the rockets and end up driving into them sometimes guess they must be used to being unable to avoid hornets so they dont even try with a rocket

Lol one of my pet peeves in MP is when people drop navs to avoid getting hit . Second only to MAG cannons. I don't really upgrade much (besides my own tank) but when I do it's mostly the same as others: Turret: upgrade with 1 minigun/chaingun. 1 scrap for double the stock firepower! Tanks: dual SP and mortar for myself; if I decide to upgrade AI tanks, I just upgrade with 1 AT. Rocket Tank: Dual rockets in the rare case that I use them.

I find alternating dual weapons to be a bit more accurate and they expend less ammo per hit on an enemy vehicle whereas if you fire both at the same time and miss, you'll waste two shots instead of a possible one. I saw this tactic in action in a Coli game when Spork was in a BDog Badger as Sporkarot. Now, I do that always. It actually allows me to survive longer. Such a shame that BDog Badgers don't come with dual Sps...

I just thought of the ULTIMATE f*** bomber, the Stealth Bomber: BD Bomber with MAG Comet Splinter and Red Field = STEALTH BOMBER
BD Bomber with SP TAG Popgun Thumper = ASSAULT BOMBER
DB bomber is 1 of the best NSdF units IMRO because it has every type of hard-point and OVER 19 THOUSAND!! ammo.
The GOD of all tanks is a CZAR with SP MAG MdM, basic speed of grizzly, hovers very low to the ground, 15054000 ammo and x110% more hull than grizzly. The rest is self explanatory.

There is this combination that I have used for many years now and I often use it in strategy matches: 3 Rocket Tanks grouped with an F key. Give all three of them dual TAG cannons and send them on hunt or to attack a target. With there being three tanks, it makes up for the moderately rapid ammo consumption and the shot delay between target round and the rocket salvos themselves. Try this out and see what you think The classic combination which always has and always will be the most common of them all; the dual SP-Stabber tank.

CCA Light tanks:
Tag guns from armory only cost 1 scrap, so you can double the firepower of your light tanks just like you can with turrets.
I want to experiment with a fleet of tanks all armed with pop guns... not sure how well it'll work though. I've tried arming CPU controlled tanks with mortars, but it makes them aim high making their cannon shots wasted.
I'm also curious about arming cpu light tanks with comets... hmm...
I have tried a full fleet of light tanks all using 3-scrap rockets... doesn't work too well, heh.

pop guns Well i can tell you from experience howitzers don't work to well with them unless they are shot at they will not respond. Pop guns on tanks is my standard weapon load out for three reasons 1. When in a battle and it gets laggy they are the best way to do damage to a high ping player 2. they are awesome for defending around recycler 3. they find pilots sniping hiding or blasted out of tank They also have good range, also not sure but they seem have a good range of fire further then a mortar[i'm not sure about this ] they are great for firing on lander's hiding on cliffs on blast. As far as any rocket tank or light tank i do not prefer them for 2 reasons: 1. Weak armor the weakest other then a razor or flanker 2. They must be loaded with weapons to be damaging a bomber tank or walker is good out of the box for firepower in a strat And on the comet a ai will not fire a comet unless you load it with 2 and then you must also command it to attack. And its a one shot weapon it wont shoot more then one time and you have to reload. So unless you prepare a weapons cash near battle and resupply it its useless. Unless you kill every thing in site. All this takes time and concentration on 1 vehicle time can be a enemy against a good player and takes you to a battle view rather then the battlefield view A good commander takes a broader view of battle field rather then just 1 soldier its better to win the war then the battle Its a cheap way to play {same category as splinters}and in a battle you will also damage you own ships a comet well damage every ship in area so in a close combat situation it hurts you more then helps unless your suicidal
