Just wondering if this had been mentioned or not, but is it possible to add the rotating vehicles in the shell? I noticed that that feature was gone in BZ1998, so is it possible to bring it back?
(This topic might need to be in Technical support, but I thought it should be in General Discussion. Up to the moderators...)

Vehicle animations in the shell crashes 1.4 with an Unhandled Exception but that crash is already fixed in the 1.5 patch, so yes, it's been brought back.

Is there a way to put the vehicle animations in 1.4? I have most of the rotation videos and I might can put them in manually if you tell me how. Or will the "Unhandled Exception" work by itself?

If you put vehicle animations in 1.4, the game will crash when you try to play multiplayer, so you can't do it unless you're running Windows 98.

Oh, well that stinks...  Is there a reason it'll crash, or is it just a random crash that can't be fixed?

It's a non-random crash that can be fixed, but only by somebody with the BZ code. No worries in 1.5 though, you'll have vehicle animations there.
