Well i was playing a Dm today.
with lemmy, hyperfighter, a faqueal.

i join in a golem
i told them no thumpers but hyper deiced to thump me, so i ejected. i told him no the thump me and he didnt anymore.

then lemmy thumped me and i ejected. i then told him thumper = eject. this happened several times. and he got more and more annoyed by this and told me to stop ejecting.

i was just wonder what you guys thought about this. should walkers eject when thumped or is this just ruining the gameplay?

I say it doesn't matter. :D If you're actually paying attention to score, though, ejecting loses you 2 points, if I'm not mistaken, compared to 1 when your ship is destroyed.

Instead of ejecting when thumped, hop out and snipe the person who is thumping you.

I hate it when people in walkers eject just to "reload". I hate that because they don't even bother to pick up an ammo pod. :?

"No hacking" is rule #0 and applies to the whole game, not just deathmatch. ;)

Ejecting to prevent somebody from getting a legitimate kill is lame.

If you are in a Walker, you better be prepared for MAGs, Thumpers, Hornets, Comets, Rocket Bombs, and various Mortars.

OK, I am tired of hearing how ejecting is "lame". If that statement is indeed true, I dare you to download the attached file and extract it to your Battlezone. It will disable the eject key and prevent you from being lame, even by accident. ;)

I dare you! Back up your claim!

Oh, and here's an idea: If they eject and deny you a kill, chase them down and kill them. That will be a total of 3 deaths for them. :P
