I recently got 1.5 and it's awesome, but I noticed TRO was missing from it. I got on the server and nobody was there at all because the 1.4 server was no longer being played on. Why was TRO excluded from the patch download? Couldn't we just include TRO in the 1.5 installer and just use an updated server? I don't know much about programming, so my suggestions may be way off, but I was just wondering why TRO seems to be disappearing from our community.

You can play it without the NO CD executable, but then you have to mount an image file with Daemon Tools. That's what we always did before the NO CD thing was made. Does the 1.4 installer on battlezone1.net not have RO in it anymore? I haven't checked recently.

I haven't checked either. I was just making a point that it's not in the 1.5 installer, and the server, when you get on it, says "UPGRADE to 1.5!" I was wondering whether the server was still being supported.

It might be hard to find players for RO multiplayer since it's like 1.4, hard to run on 64-bit operating systems and such and it suffers from all the old bugs, but in the future we might have RO again, we'll just have to see I guess.

Is 1.4 still supported? (and by supported, I mean, can it still host games?)

I can live with those bugs and other issues, and alot of other people can too. At least make it an optional download. I see no point in leaving out Battlezone's only official expansion pack just because it has bugs and issues.

I wasn't suggesting that we forget about Red Odyssey. I'd like to see an updated RO installer eventually.

I vote that we include the link for TRO download as another option on this page: http://www.battlezone1.net/home/downloads/index.htmLike have 1.4 Installer, 1.5 installer, RO installer, Other Files, and Maps. I've talked to some people in 1.5 and several said that they wanted to play TRO, but they felt like it was being forgotten, because it was not being advertised in the installer like it used to. And if they wanted to get it, because they just came to battlezone when 1.5 was released, they don't know where to get it because of it not in the downloads page. I just want a great expansion pack to go more public again.

tro was a stupid mod made by childish modders who got unofficial permission to mod bz from some random idiot who worked on bz for 12 seconds. just listen to the voice acting, its CRAP, made by a bunch of Homosexual Teenager Hooligan Horse f*** DONKEY RAPISTS.. the chinese units are basically like CCA, they leave nsdf as the s*** race because nsdf tanks have only 1200 ammo while all cca and chinese tanks have 1500 ammo and more hull than nsdf, so it sucks to be nsdf in RO, FPS skills mean nothing in strat unless ur cca or chinese, or BDog, so u can get dual sps or sp mag with 4 or 5 scrap only.. NSDF needs some improvements or advantages if RO is going to be in 1.5, also they need to get rid of that gay bdog unit, which seems to be a fat version of bdog grizly.
P.S. I'm not complaining about NSDF being weak in RO because I use them, I switched to CCA again for the xtra ammo, I just think NSDF is the underdog of all the races in RO, WHICH SUCKS FOR ANYONE WHO IS LOYAL TO THE NSDF. I WOULD PROBABLY USE BDOGS IN RO BECAUSE I ONLY NEED 5 SCRAP TO GET A FULLY LETHAL TANK WITH MDM SP MAG, AND PROX MINE IS LETHAL ALREADY, IT CAN COMPLEMENT MDM IN KILLING PILOTS BEFORE THEY EJECT

I made somewhat of a petition, in the another topic on whether we think we should include the RO installer on the downloads page.
