The new "Heavy Fighter" For lack of a better name is the first in a new line of designs coming out of the new research base codenamed "Dark Athena". This new Research base will be creating new and improved designs and concepts for the biometal battle fields of tomorrow.

This new "Heavy Fighter" is the first generation in a new close air support role. Able to soar up to and into space.

Goss if you could get this to fly backwards you could scare the crap out of anyone it heads towards. They all be afraid of the giant yellow and white flying clown face.</sub>

The previously mentioned "Heavy Fighter" has been reclassified as a Corvette
Plus the paint scheme has been updated to the new Fox's Dragoons paint Standard.

Presenting The Aerospace "Fighter" + "New weapon update"

A faster more maneuverable vehicle than the Corvette. It allows us to take on a large breath of vehicles as well as playing escort to the larger more powerful Corvettes.

Weapon update: Long Range Hornets.
In order to use the Missiles in this new arena of The Biometal Conflicts(Commander's note. I thought it was a war?) longer range missiles had to be developed. The new LHornet as were calling it has had its speed increased from 40 to 75 with new and improved engines and sensor packages allowing it to lock on from 320 meters away.
The new T.A.S.P (Targeting and Acquisition Sensor Package) allows for lock-ons with more than one target at time, using it patented S.L.T. (Super Lock on Tech)
Commander's note: 1. How did you mange to patent this "Technology" and 2. How did you steal it from the mag cannon engineers?)
But due the the complexity of the new sensor package lock ons now take up to 6 or 7 secs.

Well folks I've found a suitable weapon for the corvettes to use. Since ordinary weapons dont have the range need to properly engage in combat with ground forces if your flying over 75 meters off the ground. We have devolved a Free-Ion Laser weapon that has the necessary range to engage targets up to 200 meters away. This allows the Khan to fly at normal altitudes and still do its primary mission Air to ground.

Unfornuately some one stole the plans for all the Aerospace units.....and the working ones we had.....

But we should have to plans back in our hands in a matter of weeks. So watch out there.
